Roast meats, crisp potatoes, seasonal veg and gravy. The long lunch, done well. Fire lit, dogs welcome downstairs. Stay for the afternoon.

Mussel Night

Fresh local mussels with golden frites and bread, £18. Choose your sauce: classic marinière, or Hawkstone cider with smoked bacon and leeks.

Pair it with a crisp glass of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, and add homemade focaccia to share.

Pie Night

Homemade pies from Ross, served with creamy mash and red wine and rosemary gravy. Short-crust, filo, or one big enough to share.
